Nevets Uganda Limited has partnered with Schaefer Global Management (SGM) company from the USA who have spent years focusing on the development of a commercial-scale Aquaponic platform that will be implemented within a modern Free Trade Zone in Uganda.
This new advanced Aquaponics technology transfer from the USA will be jointly integrated with large scale mechanization, irrigation, processing and export of several agro products with a goal of "Increased commercial production and value addition to various grains and cereals in Uganda for improved food security and incomes".
Aquaponics is a hybrid food growing technology that combines aquaculture (growing fish) and vertically-farmed hydroponics (growing fruits, vegetables, herbs, etc. in a constructed, recirculating ecosystem) utilizing natural bacterial microbes to convert fish waste to plant nutrition.
This is an environmentally friendly, natural food-growing method as old as the Aztecs that harnessed the best attributes of aquaculture and hydroponics without the need to discard any water or filtrate or add chemical fertilizers. Aquaponics is using the waste produced by fish or other aquatic animals to supply nutrients for plants grown hydroponically, which in turn purifies the water that is returned to the fish.
It is gaining considerable attention lately as an off-grid, climate-proof, chemical free serious sustainable farming practice with the potential of solving many of the problems that we face, such as climate change, depleted soils, potable water, fossil fuel shortages and urban growth.
SGM’s Aquaponic platform produces organic, tasty, and nutritional vegetables, fruits, greens, and herbs. Our facility is bio secure with all the associated environmental controls to create the highest quality environment for growing plants and fish.
Inside of the facility we are going to install our aquaponic systems, including a LED lighting system allowing for year-round growing, AI-based advanced monitoring, and control systems to maintain the maximum optimization of the system and provide quick alerting in the event anything goes outside of established parameters and state-of-the-art food processing systems.
Also, SGM’s aquaponic system can utilize an optional mixed energy sourcing solution that includes: solar, fuel cell, wind, battery storage, and generator backups to demonstrate off-grid operations, which provides redundancies and sufficient backups to reduce the potential of a power loss in the facility.
NOTE: This lucrative agricultural project needs $520,000,000 (Five Hundred and Twenty Million U.S. Dollars) as funding/capital, but the project will earn us BILLIONS of USD per Year, guaranteeing over 3 times returns on each USD invested. Equally important, the agricultural experts from the USA have already secured MARKET for all the agricultural products we shall produce for Export.
